“All politics is local,” said Tip O’Neil, former Speaker of the House.

We need to remember his wisdom at this time of intense focus on national politics. What happens here in San Diego County will directly affect us and our families.

The County ballot initiatives and the State initiative on the March 3, 2020 ballot are of deep concern.

WHO ARE THE CANDIDATES RUNNING FOR JUDICIAL OFFICE?

WHAT ARE THE PROS & CONS OF THE BALLOT INITIATIVES?

Join the Imperial Beach and Coronado Democratic Clubs in meeting and hearing from special guest Congressman Scott Peters and candidates for San Diego Superior Court judicial offices. Join in a discussion with speakers in favor of and opposed to local and CA ballot initiatives.

There are two land use initiatives on the ballot that may well determine future development in San Diego County and a State wide Education Bond Initiative re: School and College Construction.

Join us for a lively evening of discussion and get ready to fill out your ballot.

All are welcome. There is no admission charge. This event is sponsored by the Coronado and Imperial Beach Democratic Clubs and not by the Coronado Library. To sign up go to: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/imperial-beachcoronado-democratic-club-ballot-forum-tickets-89481600877
