Thousands of spectators got up early on July 4th to claim their spot along Orange Avenue for the annual Coronado Fourth of July parade.

Around 20 proud members of our club, along with family and friends, participated in showing their hospitality, patriotism and “America’s spirit” during Coronado’s signature celebration.

Along with our iconic donkey, we paraded on foot, on bicycles and in vehicles, receiving applause and cheers from supportive bystanders. As always, participating in the parade was a blast, and it reinforces our presence here on the island as Democrats who believe that all Americans should have fair access to opportunity through respectful and equal treatment regardless of race, gender, beliefs, sexual orientation, age, disability or national origin.

If you were not able to participate in this year’s parade, there’s always next year.
